DTI Quantitative Measures in Patients With Normal Cognition and Cognitive Impairment

Activity: Talk or presentation typesOral presentation

Description

Diffusion tensor imaging is an advanced magnetic resonance imaging method that can provide data on microstructural organisation and connectivity of white matter. Structural changes and quantitative measures, such as DTI scalars (fractional anisotropy (FA), mean diffusivity (MD), radial diffusivity (RD), and axial diffusivity (AD)) could be associated with cognitive impairment and dementia. Our objective was to evaluate the quantitative data of DTI and compare it in patients with normal cognition and cognitive impairment.
