Evaluation of anthropometric parameters in postmenopausal period for healthy women and women with breast cancer

The aim of the study is found differences and changes of anthropometric parameters and indices in control group and in clinical group (initial oncological diagnosis without treatment intervention).The analysis of statistical data showed that despite of not numerous respondents in clinical group there were found statistically approved diminishes of the waist-to-hip ratio value and skinfold thickness above m. biceps brachii, skinfold thickness above m.triceps brachii, and subscapular and suprailiac skin folds in clinical group. The body composition changes have been considered with increased risk of development oncological pathology – breast cancer. The analysis of anthropometric parameters for women in postmenopausal age allow indicated individuals with higher risk due to evaluation value waist-hip index (WHR) ,the thickness of the skin fold over m.triceps brachii, m. biceps brachii, as well subscapular and suprailiac the skin fold.
