Hosting non-academic visitor Indars Spārniņš, IT professional and SportHack 2025 participant, for discussions on collaboration in AI-driven sports technology. The meeting focused on the prototype AI tool “AI Lactate Zone & Recovery Advisor,” developed during SportHack 2025, and explored possibilities for joint development of AI-based, non-invasive lactate prediction technologies. Discussions included how the Sports Healthcare Research Centre could support such innovation through access to high-quality laboratory and field data, structured validation protocols, and interdisciplinary expertise. The visit highlighted mutual interest in co-creating advanced data-driven solutions for athlete monitoring, recovery optimisation, and performance evaluation.
