The Latvian Sports Psychology Association (LSpPA) was founded on August 3, 2004 in cooperation with the European Federation of Sport Psychology with the aim of creating conditions for the development and improvement of sports psychology as a new direction of psychology in Latvia, by uniting practicing sports psychologists and sports educators in Latvia.
