Description

Latvia has the 3rd highest tuberculosis (TB) incidence in EU. The aim of our study is to compare WHO treatment outcome criteria and the TBNET outcome criteria for patients diagnosed and treated for TB in Latvia. A retrospective observational cohort study was conducted and data collection from analog files and database was done. Data about death rates and cause of death were obtained from SPKC.
