Perhaps art begins with the animal, at least with the animal that carves out a territory and constructs a house. Gilles Deleuze, Felix Guattari.

During the workshop, students will focus on the experience of place and walk as an internal ritual of questioning personal ideas about the memory, self-discovery, beauty and language of photography. The workshop is organized as a collective experimental laboratory, space for discussion and exchange new ideas. Performance for the camera, individual and collective discussions on related literature and art will be an essential part of the workshop.

Requirements/technique: This workshop is open to students working in any style or format – you may use the technique most fitting to your photographic idea: digital, analogue, alternative technologies, etc. Students can work in pairs if necessary. Tripod.
