The presentation provides an overview of the results of the food waste quantity assessment carried out in Latvia in 2024, with a particular focus on the retail stage of the food supply chain. Foreign examples of cooperation between assessors and the retail sector are examined. An analysis is provided of whether such cooperation can benefit the parties involved.
