Description
The goal of the discussion was to present the latest research findings and, together with partners, test conclusions and recommendations for further implementation in public health policy and practice. Experts and representatives of the Ministry of Health evaluated the project team's work positively in all areas covered by the study, including: ✔️ research on healthcare-associated infections and antibiotic consumption; ✔️ bacteriophage therapy options for high-risk patients; ✔️ mathematical modeling of HIV infection; ✔️ adherence to HIV medication; ✔️ new solutions in HIV and tuberculosis co-infection; ✔️ development and piloting of an economic model to assess cost- ✔️ effectiveness of vaccines in Latvia (for tick-borne encephalitis, respiratory syncytial virus, and pneumococcal infections).
