This international workshop explores the human dimension of mobility in highly competitive and specialised professional fields.

While long training paths and global labour market pressures often require individuals to relocate, much less is known about the emotional, relational, and personal dynamics that shape these career trajectories. The event examines how professionals navigate mobility, maintain relationships, and sustain their well-being while building demanding careers. It is co-organised by the RSU Social Sciences Research Centre and the UCL Institute of Education.
