The following theoretical cognitive methods were used in the study: historical method, comparative method, inductive and deductive methods.. The positive and negative aspects of the applied methods and materials were identified in the course of studying of technologies of visualization of latent papillae pattern prints on human skin.. As a result of the study it was established that the choice of appropriate technology for visualization of latent papillae pattern prints on human skin is influenced by a number of factors.
