Jurkalne is not only a place in Latvia, but also an annual event of the Adventure Therapy Latvia network. Jurkalne is a special event where we
gather to truly get to know each other through the adventure and therapeutic experiences we provide to each other. We learn from each other
and test new approaches and methods in a safe environment that can potentially be used in our work with the clients we serve. Most important anything can happen. This is our safe place to experiment to discover new perspectives on how, through nature, adventures, oddities and playful togetherness, we can better get to know ourselves, each other, and also share these experiences to our clients.

Jurkalne is one of our "keys” to how we build our network of adventure therapy specialists, how we create a common understanding of how we work in Latvia and where we invite more diversity in this sphere.
