Carbon-Plated Footwear, Running Economy, and Stride-Control Data During Prolonged Treadmill Running in Elite Long-Distance Runners

This dataset contains treadmill running data collected during a two-visit within-subject footwear study in long-distance runners. The dataset includes cardiopulmonary exercise data, blood lactate, rating of perceived exertion (RPE), OptoJump spatiotemporal running data, and BTS G-WALK / G-sensor inertial-sensor data.
Thirty runners were initially recruited. One participant withdrew from the study and was removed before public deposition and analysis. The deposited files therefore contain 29 participants.
