Dynamics of liver functional tests and liver parenchymal changes during 2.5-3 years follow-up after the first COVID-19

Dataset

Description

he dataset includes variables at two timepoints (at 3-9 months and 2.5-3 years) after the first COVID-19 episode in a sample of 28 patients: age, gender, severity of the first COVID-19 episode accordantly the World Health Organization definition (non-severe, severe, critical), self-reported recovery (yes/no, long-lasting symptoms (categories – general, neurological and psychological, cardiorespiratory, digestive), the presence of comorbidities at the first and second follow-up, data about COVID-19 vaccination (number of vaccinations), reinfection by SARS-CoV-2 (number), smoking (yes/no), daily medication (yes/no), alcohol use (AUDIT-C scale), body mass index (BMI). Peripheral blood tests: white cells count (WBC), erythrocytes (RBC), lymphocytes (Ly), platelet count (PLT), CD3+/CD4+ T lymphocytes (absolute count), CD3+/CD8+ T lymphocytes (absolute count), C-reactive protein (CRP), ferritin, interleukin-6 (IL-6), bilirubin (total, direct), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), and gamma-glutamyl transferase (GGT), D-dimer, prothrombin index, immunoglobulin G (IgG), antinuclear antibodies (ANA), anti-liver kidney microsomal type 1 antibodies (anti-KLM1), antibodies against soluble liver antigen (anti-SLA). Fibrosis and apoptosis markers: hyaluronic acid (HA), cytokeratin 18 fragment M30 (CK18-M30) in serum, fibrosis index (FIB-4). Multiparametric ultrasound data: median of 2D shear-wave elastography (2D SWE), median of shear-wave dispersion (SWD), median of attenuation imaging (ATI).
