EXPOSE: Skeletal Muscle Transcriptomic Responses to Concurrent Training with Polyphenols in Aging Adults: A Randomized Trial

This data set was generated to characterize skeletal muscle transcriptomic responses in older adults participating in a randomized trial investigating the effects of concurrent training combined with polyphenol supplementation. It includes mRNA expression profiles from skeletal muscle tissue samples collected before and after the intervention to evaluate molecular adaptations associated with exercise, supplementation, and their combined effect. Data were obtained using standardized transcriptomic analysis methods and processed into structured gene-level expression data for statistical comparison between intervention groups and time points, as well as for integrative analysis with physiological and systemic biomarker outcomes.
