Description
The aim of the study was to identify genetic markers associated with immunological status by evaluating serum levels of IL-1β, IFN-γ, and IL-10, and comparing genetic polymorphisms and cytokine levels between research and control groups. Cytokine levels in plasma were measured using the MILLIPLEX® MAP system, which employs Luminex® xMAP® technology. DNA amplification was carried out via polymerase chain reaction (PCR) using low-resolution sequence-specific primers (DNA-Technology), as specified in the manufacturer's protocol.
