Inflammatory markers in the first acute COVID-19

Description

Data include inflammatory markers at admission to the hospital in the first COVID-19 episode (n=150). Variables: Demographics, COVID-19 course characteristics such as pneumonia, respiratory failure (SpO2=<93%), outcome (discharge or lethal outcome), admission into the intensive care unit (ICU), comorbidities, smoking (yes/no), using of daily medication and antibacterial drugs before hospitalization, symptoms at admission to the hospital, and the lowest SpO2 during hospitalization. Laboratory tests at admission to the hospital: white cell count (WBC), neutrophils (Neu), lymphocytes (Ly), monocytes (Mo), eosinophils (Eo), erythrocytes (RBC), hemoglobin (HGB), hematocrit (HCT), platelet count (PLT), erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), procalcitonin, alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), creatinine, GFR, C-reactive protein (CRP), ferritin, lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), D-dimers, prothrombin time, prothrombin index, INR, fibrinogen, and troponin T (hscTnT).
