Molecular and immunological data on HPV prevalence in women renal transplant recipients in dynamics

Dataset

Description

Data on Human papillomavirus (HPV) prevalence in renal transplant recipients in dynamics. Qualitative data on the presence of HPV was acquired using PCR and DNA isolated from cervical smears as a template. Expression of HPV oncogenes was determined by PCR using cDNA as a template (synthesized from RNA isolated from cervical smears). HPV load data were acquired using a commercially available PCR kit, and the data were processed per manufacturers' instructions (Sacace Biotechnologies). HPV types were determined using a commercially available semiquantitative PCR kit, and the data were processed per manufacturers' instructions (Seegene, South Korea). HPV L1-specific antibodies were detected using a specific commercially available ELISA test, and the data were processed per manufacturers' instructions (MyBioSource, USA). Clinical data were acquired from patient medical history.
