Description
The study data file contains information from a survey of Latvian residents conducted between July 7, 2023, and July 25, 2023. This study aims to assess Latvian residents' opinions on climate change, its mitigation possibilities, adaptation strategies, and climate narratives developed in Latvia. The target group consists of permanent residents of Latvia aged 18 to 74. Using a random stratified multistage sampling method, the study reached n=1000 respondents, ensuring a representative sample of the general population in terms of gender, age, and place of residence. Data was collected through face-to-face interviews at respondents' residences in either Latvian or Russian. The survey was conducted within the framework of the project "From Indifference to Change in Climate Policy: Improving the Interaction Between Political Narrative and Public Perception in Latvia" (LZP-2020/1-0047).
