Psychological Skills Inventory for Sport (PSIS-R5) for Latvian Athletes

The dataset was collected to support the adaptation and validation of the PSIS-R5 (Psychological Skills Inventory for Sports - Revised, version 5). It includes participant responses to the full original version of the PSIS-R5, which consists of six scales assessing various psychological skills critical to athletic performance. Responses were collected using a 5-point Likert scale. Data collection involved administering the original PSIS-R5 questionnaire to athletes from different sports, either in paper or digital form. The items were coded to match the structure of the original instrument. Data processing included organizing responses according to the six scales, preparing the dataset for subsequent psychometric analysis.
