Riga Stradins University Phage Group's Klebsiella spp. and their phage collection

Dataset

Description

BioProject we aims to continuously deposit WGS data and functionally annotated genome assemblies of the relevant Klebsiella spp. bacterial isolates from Latvia as well as the bacteriophages isolated from environmental sources using the aforementioned isolates (mostly, but not limited to, clinical K. pneumoniae isolates) as the host strains. BioProject is expected to serve as an overarching accession that ensures the public availability of the Riga Stradins University (RSU) Phage Group's data mostly generated within the ongoing projects in connection to investigating prospects for phage therapy against Klebsiella infections and establishment of the Latvian Klebsiella phage biobank at the RSU.
