The effect of velocity on flight phase duration in race walking: A comparative study of three cases

Dataset

Description

The data were collected in a study analyzing the dependency of the flight phase on walking velocity in three race walkers, comparing their individual walking speeds to world-class standards. A treadmill and the OptoJump Next optical-electronic motion analysis system were used to record the kinematic parameters of walking. Each participant performed approximately the same number of steps at each intensity level. The dataset includes the kinematic parameters of each race walker, organized and cleaned of errors. A "Readme" file is also provided, explaining the structure of the dataset in the Excel document.
