Description
This dataset contains UV profiles of polymers: povidone (Kollidon® K25), copovidone (Kollidon® VA 64), Polyvinyl caprolactam–polyvinyl acetate–polyethylene glycol graft copolymer (Soluplus®) taken in organic solvents such as chloroform, tetrahydrofuran (THF), and ethyl acetate, in a concentration of 50 mg/ml.
Method. A turbidity study was performed in organic solvents with dissolved polymers (50 mg/ml). UV absorption was determined directly within 10 mm pathlength quartz cuvettes (at room temperature) with UV-1900i spectrophotometer (UV-1900i; Shimadzu Corp., Kyoto, Japan). Spectra were recorded (n = 3), using the “Spectrum” mode in LabSolutions software.
Data. The dataset contains a CSV file of polymer UV-absorbance values in organic solvents. CSV file “T1” contains data about Kollidon® VA 64 in THF, ethyl acetate, and chloroform. CSV file “T2” contains data about Kollidon® K25 in chloroform and Soluplus® in THF, ethyl acetate, and chloroform. Pictures “P1” and “P2” provide a brief overview of data.
