      Description

      The Group Environment Questionnaire is an instrument designed to determine team cohesion in sport games.

      GEQ consists of 18 statements. The survey includes four subscales:
      1. Group integration for task accomplishment, 5 statements
      2. Group integration in social tendency, 4 statements
      3. Individual attractions to the group for task accomplishment, 4 statements
      4. Individual attractions to the group in social tendency, 5 statements

      Internal consistency:
      • Group integration for task accomplishment, internal consistency with Cronbach's alpha coefficient 0.91
      • Group integration in social tendency, internal consistency with Cronbach's alpha coefficient 0.64
      • Individual attractions to the group for task accomplishment, internal consistency with Cronbach's alpha coefficient 0.84
      • Individual attractions to the group in social tendency, internal consistency with Cronbach's alpha coefficient 0.87

      Sample characteristics:
      The adaptation process took place from 2004 to 2006, the sample of respondents consisted of 459 respondents from various sports. The age of respondents was 18-20 years.
