Description
The software supports projects containing a variety of data types, including textual materials, PDFs, images, audio and video files, and structured survey data. Its core functions include organizing and coding source materials, writing memos, retrieving and querying coded segments, managing cases and associated variables, and producing tables and visualizations.
MAXQDA follows the REFI-QDA standard, which allows for the import and export of data across different QDA software packages, and supports analysis in multiple languages through Unicode compatibility. The software is used by researchers across more than 150 countries and is available under individual, academic, and institutional licensing arrangements.
