Description
The Sony Alpha 7 is a full-frame mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera featuring a 24-megapixel Exmor CMOS sensor measuring 35.8 × 23.9 mm, housed in a weather-sealed body with a tilting LCD screen and Sony E-mount lens interface. The camera is equipped with the BIONZ X image processor, enabling continuous burst shooting at 5 frames per second, as well as front-end LSI technology that contributes to improved tonal rendering and image detail. The sensor supports a native ISO sensitivity range of 100–25,600 and outputs 14-bit RAW files.
The Sony FE 24-70mm F2.8 GM II is the second-generation premium constant-aperture full-frame standard zoom lens for the Sony E-mount. The lens delivers high contrast and resolution at all zoom positions and aperture settings, achieved through two high-precision XA (extreme aspherical) elements, two ED (extra-low dispersion) glass elements, two Super ED glass elements, and a floating focus mechanism that controls chromatic aberration, astigmatism, distortion, and coma throughout the zoom range. Nano AR Coating II reduces flare and ghosting.
The angle of view spans 84° to 34° on a full-frame sensor and 61° to 23° on an APS-C body. The lens weighs 695 g – more than 20% lighter than its predecessor – and has been reduced by 16 mm in length, with an overall volume reduction of approximately 18%.
