Description
The Stimulating and Instrumental Risk Questionnaire (Makarowski) is an instrument designed to assess stimulating and instrumental risk in athletes and non-athletes. The questionnaire has been adapted into 21 languages (English, Arabic, Chinese, French, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Indonesian, Indian (Marathi and Hindi), Lithuanian, Latvian, Moldovan, German, Persian, Polish, Portuguese, Slovak, Romanian, Russian, and Spanish). The minimum score is 4, the maximum is 20.
The questionnaire consists of 8 statements. The survey includes two subscales:
1. Stimulating risk (4 statements)
2. Instrumental risk (4 statements)

Internal consistency:
Internal consistency was determined by Cronbach's alpha coefficient, which ranged from 0.63 to 0.83.
Sample characteristics:
The adaptation process took place from 2019 to 2021, the sample of respondents consisted of 352 respondents (91 women, 261 men).
