Areas of work, main tasks and objectives: To organise high-quality and modern undergraduate and continuing education in dermatology and venereology;
supervise students’ and residents’ research papers;
implement doctoral studies;
foster the research and qualification upgrading of the department’s academic staff;
cooperate with other structural units at RSU and professional associations. Research directions: Immunodermatology and autoimmune skin diseases;
Rare dermatoses, genodermatoses;
The role of dermatoscopy in assessing skin cancer treatment results;
Sexually transmitted diseases. Research topics: Moderate / severe atopic dermatitis;
Dermatoscopic and morphological correlations of atypical actinic keratosis;
Dermatoscopic characteristics of inflammatory non-scarring psoriasis and lichen planus balanitis, relation to their histological features and impact on quality of life.
