1) Provide a result-oriented study process. 2) Optimization of the study process. Use of modern training and knowledge testing methods. 3) Attract motivated lecturers and doctoral students. 4) Expansion of research work. Involve lecturers, students, residents, master's degree students, doctoral students in research. 5) Raise the professional and pedagogical qualifications of the lecturers of the department. 6) Provide postgraduate education for doctors.
Research directions:
1) Influence of reproductive tract and TORCH infections on the pregnancy and perinatal outcome. 2) Prenatal diagnostics. 3) Genetic factors in preterm birth. 4) Successful induction of labour: the role of metabolome and other factors. 5) Abnormal adherence of the placenta to the uterine wall pathological ingrowth of the placenta, the role of the placenta in the pathogenesis of perinatal pathology. 6) Study of the causes of Caesarean section and possible reducing pathways. 7) Quality aspects of obstetric care, patient-centred approach. 8) Thyroid function and diseases during pregnancy. 8) Pelvic dysfunction in the postpartum period. 9) Nutrition and reproductive health. 10) Research of molecular and genetic factors of cervical precancerous lesions, optimal cervical cancer screening solutions. 11) Prophylactic aspects of cervical cancer prevention through vaccination and treatment of reproductive tract infections. 12) Impact of Covid infection on reproductive health. 13) Polycystic ovary syndrome in adolescents and related health risk factors. 14) Sexual dysfunction and its association with various gynecological conditions and diseases.
