Research interests
I focus on the democratic and sustainable aspects of landscape planning and design, particularly through co-creation, and participatory methods (such as Living Labs, PPGIS studies). My research examines human-nature and human-landscape relationships, practices, perceptions, patterns of use, multispecies justice and Nature-Based Solutions in everyday landscapes. Currently, I am investigating design approaches for the aftermath of crises and the perception of urban blue spaces in Warsaw.
Additionally, I work with the LeNotre Institute, exploring topics connected to landscape democracy and foodscapes as well as contributing to educational activities, international workshops and design competitions.
