Research interests

I am currently working on my doctoral dissertation titled "The Use of Addictive Substances as a Manifestation of Deviant Behavior among adolescents: Political and Informational Instruments for Limiting its Development in Latvia."

My research interests focus on prevention programs aimed at adolescents and youth as a target group, the influence of social agents on adolescents' decisions to use addictive substances, and the societal perception of substance use among young people as a form of social deviance.

Research interests

As a researcher, my interests are related to the recognition of climate change and public understanding of its causes, as well as societal involvement in efforts to mitigate climate change.
