Born in 1966 in Latvia. Graduated as MD in Riga Medical Institute, Latvia (1989). Specialized in Internal Diseases (1998). Graduated as PhD in Riga Stradins University, Latvia („Add-on Antioxidant Therapy: new advances in Bronchial Asthma and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease treatment and complications prophylaxis”, 2007).

Working group on multimorbidity of The European Federation of Internal Medicine Member of the European Society of Internists, European Society of Hypertension, European Society of Atherosclerosis, European Association for Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation, The group of Polyphenoles Society, Latvian Kidney and Multiorgan Replacement Therapy Association. She is an author of more than 130 scientific publications (18 in cited journals, 3 scientific book), 5 International and 12 Latvian Patents. Latvian award “Minox” laureate for Inventions (2012). Expert of the Latvian Council of Science (Internal Diseases) since 2014. Research interests: Oxidative stress, Biomarkers, Metabolic syndrome, Arterial hypertension, Multimorbidity, Experience in EU-funded projects managing since 2005.
