The project aims at strengthening multi- and inter-disciplinary teaching, research and outreach on European studies at Riga Stradins University for students from Latvia about Green Business and Entrepreneurship in the EU Single Market (GBEinES M). The main objective is to create a teaching module to be integrated in the curriculum of Business studies to implement the above stated aim. The GBEinESM project will be carried out at the Department of International Business and Economics, a European Studies Faculty structure. In particular: 1) increase expertise in inter-and multi-disciplinary teaching on EU matters; 2) develop expert knowledge in EU fundamentals; 3) increase awareness of EU policy contested nature, 4) deepen understanding of the new EU initiatives on green growth, sustainability and competitiveness through innovative methodological approaches; 5) involve academia, policy makers, business community, civil society, 6) sharing knowledge with relevant stakeholders and civil society about EU approach to the green, digital and energy transitions; 7) conduct research with PhD students, young researchers, masters’ students.
