Impact of EU label changes and regulatory communication on SARS-CoV-2 adenovirus vector vaccines in context of thrombosis with thrombocytopenia syndrome (TTS): risk awareness and adherence

Project Details

Description

To determine:
•the level of healthcare professional awareness and knowledge of the risk of TTS and adherence to SmPC recommendations for SARS-CoV-2 adenovirus vector vaccines.
•the extent of change in healthcare professional attitude towards national vaccination campaigns and recommendations, by country, by age group and by national vaccination strategy (i.e. through vaccination centre, general practitioner, specialist etc.).
•the extent of change in patients’ attitude towards vaccination against SARS-CoV-2, by country, by age group, by gender and if feasible by type of regulatory action.
•the extent of how regulatory actions for TTS have changed national vaccination policy, including change in risk and age group prioritisation, change in recommendations for the second vaccine dose and recommendations for other SARS-CoV-2 vaccines available at the time, by country, by age-group, by vaccine brand and by vaccination strategy.
