The project applicant is research group of cardiovascular physiologists and physicists from the University of Latvia (UL) Inst. of Atomic Physics and Spectroscopy Dept. of Biophotonics and Faculty of Biology, in close collaboration with a group of national level frontline COVID-19 experts of the Dept. of Human Physiology Riga Stradins University (RSU) Dept. of Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Research team has multi-project R&D experience in patient examination and monitoring technique in ICU bedside environment. The aim of the project is to develop multimodal technique for guidance of fluid and vasopressor therapy of critically ill COVID-10 ICU patients.
