Description
The main purpose of the Nordic-Baltic Oral Health network is to increase and ensure the quality of study programmes of Dental Hygiene in the Nordic-Baltic region, since they are every small. For this reason cooperation with other institutions is vital for dental hygienist education. Through the cooperation the programmes are able to utilize the specific expertise from other partner institutions to strengthen the academic level. To reach these goals Oral Health network is applying funding for 1) network support (development of new teaching materials) and 2) teacher and student mobility. The aim of this project will be to develop 6-10 new video teaching materials on different topics in Oral Health, for instance, Preventive dentistry, Pediatric dentistry, Behaviour management. Every partner institution will give their own contribution to improve this project and will prepare their own video lectures of Oral Health. Training materials will be used to develop and improve the students’ knowledge in all 4 partner universities.
