Physical activity for prevention of breast cancer recurrence: a longitudinal study of molecular mechanisms

Project Details

Description

The primary aim of the Cancerbeat-2 study is to gain deeper understanding into molecular mechanisms behind the effect of physical activity on health risks factors related to recurrence of the breast cancer during12-18 months after the treatment. This study will investigate association of physical capacity, quality of life, daily physical activity and blood biomarkers characterizing immune response as a preventive measure of the recurrent breast cancer.
