To conduct a survey of 500 pregnant women and women seven days post-partum; to develop the data set and carry out the statistical analysis; to present the data to the professional associations involved in antenatal and postnatal care in Latvia; to present recommendations to the CDC Latvia (responsible for promotion of healthy nutrition in pregnancy and promotion of breastfeeding); and to adjust the available tools and instruments based on the outcomes of the study. Develop and submit an abstract, as well as present data at two international conferences/meetings, and submit a paper to a peer-reviewed journal.
