Abstract
As Baltic states (Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania) are all countries with relatively small population (1.3 million, 1.9 million and 2.8 million people accordingly), it is only logical to assume that the case loads in hospitals are also on the lower side compared to most of the European countries. This fact becomes especially important in the context of subspecialities, that require high degree of qualification, which, as we know, are largely determined by the number of cases.
