Abstract
Description
This research employs a mixed-methods study design. The focus of the scoping review is to explore and synthesize current evidence on the theoretical models of short-term arts-based interventions aimed at reducing deliberate self-harming behaviour among adolescents, as well as to explore the underlying mechanisms of therapeutic change.
The scoping review follows the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) Manual for Evidence Synthesis, including the updated PRISMA-ScR checklist, ensuring a structured and transparent approach.
