Abstract

It has been shown that statistically significant dose-related risks of eye diseases (retinal angiopathy, AMD, cataracts) and mortality risks from cardiovascular diseases (myocardial infarction, cardiomyopathy, pulmonary heart disease and pulmonary circulatory disorders) are observed in the period from four-five to ten-eleven years after radiation exposure. In this period ophthalmological examinations should be carried out.
