N2 - The paper is devoted to conceptual models’ development, ontologies system and onto-oriented information systems for folk medical systems on the example of Chinese Image Medicine as a promising component of integrative scientific medicine. Conceptual models of Chinese Image Medicine of hybrid type are developed, which on the one hand, reflect the basic concepts of the traditional theory of Chinese Image Medicine, and on the other hand, contain elements of their interpretations in terms of modern science. Hybrid conceptual models are built on the basis of conceptual analysis methodology of traditional knowledge in order to interpret them by means of modern scientific theories, as well as on the basis of the extracting expert knowledge procedure in the field of Chinese Image Medicine. The developed conceptual models were implemented in the system of five Chinese Image Medicine ontologies, which was developed in the OWL language of in the Protégé environment. A prototype of the onto-oriented system of professional healing activity “Image-therapist” were developed as an example of programmatic embodiment. This information system fields are the corresponding concepts of diagnostic and therapeutic Chinese Image Medicine ontologies.
