Abstract
Latvian language culture was within the scope of Jānis Endzelīns’s work in linguistics. This article addresses two fundamental works of his dedicated to language culture: “Dažādas valodas kļūdas” (“Different Language Errors”) (1928–1932 (four issues), 1994 (facsimile edition of 1932)) and “Profesora J. Endzelīna atbildes” (“Professor J. Endzelīns’s Answers”) (Minutes of the Riga Latvian Society Linguistics department meetings 1933–1942).
