Abstract
For the first time in Latvia's more than 100-year long national history, the authors present a book written by current and former judges of the Constitutional Court, their assistants, as well as legal scholars who have long stimulated Latvia's modern public legal thought, formulated legal institutes, concepts and formed legal traditions. The concept of "public law" includes those branches and sub-branches of law that organize and direct the interaction between people and power.
