Abstract
The book - "Not Important Enough to Neglect: Taiwan in the Diplomacy of Northern and Central Europe" is a collection of authored analysis with comprehensive, in-depth research serving as a guide for diplomatic attitudes towards Taiwan. The book provides a balanced analysis of various political, security and economic elements in the diplomacy of EU member states: the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, Sweden. The authors of the second section of the book analyse the policy of the United States towards Europe and Eastern Asia, the EU’s political wishes and limitations towards Taiwan, and Taiwan’s outlook on its geopolitical situation.
