Abstract

The problem of approximation of a density histogram is considered as the problem of smoothing histopolation with weights under some additional restrictions. The generalization of this problem for Hilbert spaces allows us to investigate this problem, prove the existence of its solutions and suggest the method for their construction. The other possibilities for using the obtained results in the statistical estimation problems are discussed.
