Abstract

This paper is dedicated to the challenges
from the higher education perspective in the field of open
educational resources in specific area as forensic science.
Forensic scientists often help criminal justice professionals
investigate and solve different crimes by gathering,
documenting, as well as analysing criminal evidence. More
often in Europe are provided modern specializations as
cybercrime and digital forensics etc., which prepare students
for careers solving computer-related crimes, such as identity
theft and fraud. But, there are still possible to improve the quality of forensic experts by providing high level open
educational resources.
The aim of the paper is to clarify potential problems and
development perspectives in the field of forensic science from
the academical point of view. In nowadays digitalization
processes influence states economy, health care, education
system etc. The authors describe how the higher education
institutions can improve the quality of forensic science
