The aim of the research paper is to identify whether there are a full cost policing services in Latvia or as it is in almost all European countries, the provided special police services are not covered fully by the public event organizer. Moreover, it is highly important to identify, possible solutions in order to reduce these costs in case not all services provided are being covered by the public event organiser in the Republic of Latvia Research methodology: IRAC, in order to: identify the issue, state the specific rule or law applicable to the issue, discuss the law in respect to the facts, provide the conclusion. Findings: The police force may provide, at the request of any person, special police services for which the force is maintained, subject to the payment to the police authority of charges on such scales as may be determined by that authority. Even though, there is an extensive price list of paid services provided by the State Police of the Republic of Latvia, there still are unreasonably high costs, which are not covered by football clubs or any other public event organizers.
