Abstract
The invention relates to medicine, particularly to pulmonology.
The method is achieved by measurement of exhaled nitric oxide, the nature of pulmonary infiltrate is determined as infectious/contagious when exhaled nitric oxide increases above 20 ppb (part per billion) - of NO to one billion molecules of air.
