Abstract

The main requirement of triboelectric nanogenerator (TENG) device is the necessity to have separable parts to harvest mechanical energy, thus complicating the integration into energy harvesting systems. Herein we show a volumetric triboelectric generator concept – triboelectric laminate (TEL) prepared entirely from PDMS, for conversion of acoustic and mechanical energy into electrical.
