Abstract

Verners Kraulis (1904-1944) was a Latvian psychiatrist, a pupil of professor Hermanis Buduls. V. Kraulis worked in the Department of Psychiatry in the University of Latvia and focused his scientific work mainly on psychiatric genetics, biochemistry and clinical research of schizophrenia treatment. He was one of the most influential figures in Latvian psychiatry
and was also known abroad.
